Plusnet is currently offering a brilliant range of deals on its fibre broadband plans as part of its January sale. You can now grab fibre broadband from as little as £22/mth, while scoring free rewards cards with a value of up to £75, depending on which plan you choose. To check which plans you’re eligible for, simply head to the Plusnet website and enter your postcode and landline (if you have one).
Our favourite of the deals on offer is Plusnet’s 18-month Unlimited Fibre Extra plan. Coming in at a very reasonable £24/mth, this set-up promises estimated speeds of between 65 and 72 Mbits/sec, with a minimum guaranteed speed of 60.6 Mbits/sec – well above the recommended 50 Mbits/sec needed to reliably stream media in 4K. If that wasn’t enough, this plan comes with a £50 reward card and a £0 activation fee (normally £10).
The £50 reward card can be redeemed anywhere online, over the phone, or in person where you spot the MasterCard symbol. There are a few caveats, though: you cannot use the reward card to withdraw money from a cash machine, claim cashback, sign up for a subscription, withdraw money from a foreign exchange or place bets on gambling websites.
Of course, tempting freebies and head-turning listed speeds don’t always tell the full story when it comes to broadband providers, but, reassuringly enough, Plusnet is a highly reliable and recommended broadband provider.
