Part of Samsung’s flagship releases for the year, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra debuted in February alongside the standard Galaxy S23 and the latest Plus model. While it’s fairly rare to find quality deals on phones this new, unearthing one as good as this is truly something special.
As part of this ID Mobile deal, you can currently pick up a 256GB Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with unlimited data for just £79 upfront, and £50/mth thereafter on a 24-month contract. To help put this deal into context, the above figures come to £1,279 over the course of your contract, whereas buying the phone new and paying for 24 months of unlimited data separately would cost a whopping £1,633. A great deal on its own, it gets even sweeter when you factor in the pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro – currently retailing for ~£100 – that are thrown in for free.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was our favourite Android phone of last year, and as you can read in our Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra review, this latest upgrade has added plenty of improvements to coo over. Most notable amongst is the switch over to Qualcomm chipsets across its latest models, with the Ultra’s tailor-made Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 boosting its performance, stamina and clock speeds.
Also improved in the S23 Ultra are the phone’s battery life, which blew the competition out of the water in our looping video test, and its camera array, with an impressive new 200MP main camera debuting alongside improvements to zoom functionality, portrait photography and night shooting. While not notably improved from last year’s model, the phone’s sleek design, crisp 6.8in Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and handy S-Pen features are still impressive enough to warrant mentioning.
Taking a look at the provider itself, ID Mobile bagged a healthy four stars in our latest review of the service. Operating off of Three’s speedy network, ID Mobile provides nippy 5G and has solid coverage across the country. Outside of top speeds, we also praised the network for its value and generous offers, with its phone contract and SIM-Only deals regularly being among the best on offer. A negative note for ID Mobile was its disappointing scores for customer service, however, for most surveyed users, value for money and speedy service trumped these concerns.
Finally, our Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro review was largely positive, noting the earbuds’s comfort and wearability, solid ANC and effective 360 audio.
