Our Rating
The phone maker clearly intends these Bluetooth neck-band headphones to be used with your music phone - you can use them to answer calls while playing tracks.
But they work equally well with a Bluetooth-enabled PC. Although the integrated track skipping controls won't work, the volume buttons will.
Sound quality marginally bettered the Philips set, offering richer and deeper bass. The cans are slightly larger and heavier, which compromises portability, but they look reasonably credible when worn. Battery life slightly exceeded the Philips pair, and you can charge them in a speedy two hours using a standard Nokia charger, handy if you use a Nokia phone.
We had no problems with signal strength, but bear in mind that you'll need a Bluetooth dongle if your PC doesn't have Bluetooth already, as it isn't included. Our only qualm was that our tester reported that wearing the set for longer than 30 minutes was akin to having his ears wrenched by a pair of pliers. Whether that was due to the hard plastic construction or the odd shape of the tester's ears, we couldn't possibly say. For normal-eared folk, though, they're reasonably priced and well worth a listen.
