Two of our favourite smart thermostats are on offer for Prime Day today
Amazon has slashed the prices of two of our favourite smart thermostats. The third generation Nest Learning Thermostat and the second generation Hive Active Heating – both of which received a four-star rating when we reviewed them – are now on offer for a very appealing sum.
To avail of this, all you need is an Amazon Prime subscription. There’s good news here, too. Amazon Prime usually costs £79 a year, but you can now get it for just £59 a year, saving you a cool £20. Apart from one-day delivery on thousands of products, you get loads of other benefits, including Amazon Prime Video.
If there’s one name that synonymous with smart heating, it’s Google’s Nest Learning Thermostat. While it costs a whopping £219 if you purchase it directly from the retailer, you can get it for just under £160 if you buy it from Amazon today. That’s a huge saving of over 60%.
Hive Active Heating is no slouch when it comes to replicating Nest’s wide gamut of features. It normally retails for £249, but you can now get it for just £181, giving you a saving of 27%.
Don’t let the name ‘thermostat’ fool you because both devices are capable and feature-packed smart home systems. You can control your home’s temperature and your hot water from a few taps on your phone’s app.
