How to watch the Carabao Cup: Live stream the 2021-22 EFL Cup Quarter-Final

Watch the Carabao Cup quarter-final fixtures, including Liverpool vs Leicester City and Spurs vs West Ham, anywhere online

The Carabao Cup 2021-22 Quarter-final takes place on 21 and 22 December 2021. Of these, one game will be played on 21 December, while the other three will take place on 22 December. UK channel Sky Sports will broadcast the marquee fixtures in the UK.

Seven teams from the Premier League have qualified for the Carabao Cup quarter-final. The eighth team is Sunderland, who defeated fellow League One side Queens Park Rangers on penalties to qualify for the knockout round.

The biggest upset in October’s Round of 16 came when West Ham defeated four-time-reigning champions Manchester City in the penalty shootout. In the other games, Liverpool defeated Preston 2-0, Tottenham narrowly got past Burnley 1-0, Leicester City needed a penalty shoutout to relegate Brighton, and Brentford defeated Stoke City 2-1.

In December’s quarter-final fixtures, Arsenal face Sunderland, while Brentford face Chelsea. Liverpool won’t have it easy against a determined Leicester City, while the biggest clash will be the North London derby as Tottenham Hotspur take on West Ham United for a place in the semi-final.

How to watch the Carabao Cup anywhere in the world: use a good VPN service

By default, both the streaming services we’ve mentioned are geo-blocked, meaning you won’t be able to watch Sky Sports or Now TV Sky Sports Pass if you’re outside the UK unless you use a good VPN service on your PC or mobile device. A good VPN service does much more than let you stream content that’s not available in your country. We think that it’s becoming increasingly important for everyone to use one because whenever you switch on a VPN all your online activity is encrypted, meaning no one – not even your ISP – can see what you do when you go online.

ExpressVPN: Of all the VPN services we’ve reviewed, we can confidently say that ExpressVPN is the best one we’ve used for streaming. Not only has its entire service been independently audited to confirm that it doesn’t log or store any user data, but you can also use it on five devices simultaneously, making it a great option for a family or a group of friends. It also has the fastest speeds, especially when connecting to far-off locations like the UK, US and Australia. Our readers get 49% off when they subscribe to the one-year plan. The service has 24/7 customer support and a 30-day no-questions-asked moneyback guarantee.

NordVPN: A close second to ExpressVPN is NordVPN because you get many of the same award-winning features at a discounted price and you can even use your subscription on six devices at the same time. Both VPNs have 24/7 customer support, a 30-day moneyback guarantee but – more importantly – highly secure servers that don’t leak your data and even independently-conducted audits to prove that the VPN service cannot access any of your browsing data. We also like the NordVPN PC interface that contains a map of the world. To use the VPN in a particular country, simply select it on the map before you start streaming.
