How to watch Spurs vs Man United: Live stream today’s big Premier League clash online

Kane, Son, Bergwijn and Sissoko return for Spurs; Rashford is back for United. Here's how to watch Spurs vs Man United

Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 8:15pm tonight and the game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and Now TV Sky Sports Pass in the UK from 8pm. Both services have huge discounts at the moment.

Originally scheduled to be played back in March, Man United now travel to London to face their old manager – Jose Mourinho – and his new team, Tottenham Hotspur. Before the break, United were on their best winning run of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s tenure, with 10 unbeaten games in all competitions.

This will be the fourth Premier League match back after the season was abruptly called off because of the rising cases of coronavirus cases in the UK, something that now seems to be under some control. It’s also the second out of 20 Premier League fixtures that will be played from Friday to Thursday, 25 June, as the most-watched football league in the world looks to make up for lost time.

For fans though, this will probably be one of the biggest matches on opening weekend, given the various storylines at play. Mourinho was the manager of Manchester United until December 2018 and will know his former side’s strengths and weaknesses all too well. The Red Devils were on a sensational run, something that can’t be said for the Spurs this season who were woefully out of form before the season was forced to close.

Team news: Fifth-placed United and eighth-placed Spurs are separated by just four points on the table. The extended break has also given both teams a chance to get their key players healthy. Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba have returned to full fitness for Manchester United. Solksjaer will be comforted by the fact that he now has many attacking options on hand because he brought in Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo to replace Pogba and Rashford who were expected to be out for most -if not all – of the season.

But the biggest beneficiaries of the long break could potentially be the Spurs. Mourinho’s team had six games without a win in all competitions before the season was forced to close. This was mainly due to the number of injuries on the roster, so the Spurs will be buoyed by the return of quartet Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Steven Bergwijn and Moussa Sissoko for Friday’s clash against United.

Phil Jones could be out of action for United as he aims to make a complete recovery from a minor injury. Meanwhile, Mourinho won’t be able to call on the services of midfielder Delle Ali because the FA have punished him with a one-match ban for making a racially insensitive coronavirus joke.
