How to watch South Africa vs England: Live stream England cricket matches online

England sealed a sensational T20 series win to end their tour of South Africa on a high

England’s cricketers finished their successful tour of South Africa with a flourish, winning the final T20 by five wickets to claim a 2-1 series win.

The victory saw them chase down 222 – the fourth-highest total to win a T20 game ever.

South Africa won the toss in Centurion and opted to bat. That looked like a good decision as their openers Temba Bavuma and Quinton de Kock took England’s bowlers apart in the powerplay, putting on 84 for the first wicket before de Kock was dismissed by Ben Stokes.

Bavuma fell to Adil Rashid shortly after but the hosts managed to post a daunting total thanks to contributions of 66 from Rassie van der Klassen and 35 not out from David Miller.

Jason Roy was out for seven in the second over of England’s reply but Jos Buttler finally found some form, scoring 57 from 44 balls. His partnership with Jonny Bairstow took England to 106-2 and Bairstow maintained his side’s momentum to get them to 140 before being bowled by Andile Phehlukwayo.

Dawid Malan fell cheaply but with captain Eoin Morgan and Stokes at the wicket and 53 required from the last four overs, England always looked in with a chance.

Stokes holed out in the 19th over but Morgan was at his big-hitting best and smashed back-to-back sixes to set up victory, which was sealed by a Moeen Ali boundary with five balls remaining.

The win caps a great tour for England, who took the Test series 3-1 and drew the ODI series 1-1.

They are next in action in March for a tour of Sri Lanka before hosting West Indies this summer. Those series will be live on both Sky Sports and via the Now TV Sky Sports Pass
