United are currently just one point behind Chelsea on the Premier League table and with just two games remaining, both teams have their eye on a top-four finish to secure Champions League qualification next season.
Chelsea, meanwhile, already have one eye on next season after signing Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from Borussia Dortmund. Since the resumption of the Premier League a month ago, Chelsea have won six games and lost two to London rivals West Ham and Crystal Palace.
Frank Lampard will hope that his team have saved their best for last because after Manchester United, they face newly-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool, followed by Wolves in the Premier League.
The winner of this semi-final will face the winner of Arsenal vs Man City in the FA Cup Final on Saturday, 1 August, at Wembley.

Unlike the first semi-final between Arsenal and Man City that takes place a day earlier and is broadcast live on BT Sport, the second semi-final between Man United and Chelsea is being broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK. This means that UK residents can watch the game for free, provided you have a valid TV license. BBC One will broadcast the game from 5:30pm on Sunday, 19 July, with kickoff between the teams scheduled for 6pm.
