Get your hands on some of the Switch's best games with this bundle directly from Ninty
Kings of first-party software, Nintendo have shown their no slouches in the first party deal space, too, offering up a Nintendo Switch Lite, a game, an accessory and a year of Nintendo Switch Online for just £250.
It’s a generous bundle, letting you choose one of the brand-new Pokemon games, Mario Kart 8, Witcher 3 or even Super Smash Bros Ultimate, amongst others.
On the accessories front, it’s a little plain: you’ll get a case, some Mario themed thumbstick caps for the Switch’s JoyCons or a plastic game case to hold your Switch games. Think of it as a freebie, because the real value here comes from the selection of games and the Switch Lite itself.
Still, you shouldn’t sniff at the year of Nintendo Switch Online, which gives you access to both online play for the console but also a selection of NES and SNES games. Some hits include The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros. Ghosts’N Goblins, Gradius, Ninja Gaiden, Kid Icarus, Punch out and… honestly just an impossible amount of games. There’s more than enough quality here to keep you busy for the entire year, and that’s before you talk about the Switch games.
It got a whopping five stars in our review, with Nathan Spendelow saying that if you only want to use your Switch on the go, “the Switch Lite represents the very best handheld console that Nintendo has ever brought to market.
” The new design is far better suited for on-the-go gaming sessions, it’s equally as powerful and the slightly improved battery life over the original version is also a big plus.”
Games are selling out fast for the deal, and you should expect the better games to go out of stock pretty sharpish, so you’ll want to move quickly on this one to get the most out of it.
