How to watch MasterChef Australia from the US, UK and everywhere

Your go-to guide to watching MasterChef Australia wherever you are in the world

Australian TV is having a moment. From fiery Love Island Australia to the even fierier Masterchef Australia, viewers worldwide are flocking to the country’s high budget, high production value TV shows.

MasterChef Australia is much like the UK model of the cooking game show – but on steroids. Think big, loveable personalities, manic preparation and games aplenty, with Kardashian-style ‘behind the scenes’ interviews interspersed between on-set shots. Perhaps some of the best moments of the show can be found in the judges’ scathing criticism (furrowed brows, lingering pauses, looks of disbelief) – and hard-won praise.

While there are two seasons each of MasterChef UK, MasterChef The Professionals and Celebrity MasterChef available on Netflix UK at the moment, if you want to tune into the trials and tribulations of masterful cooking down under, you’ll need to look a bit further afield. Here’s our guide to watching MasterChef Australia wherever you are in the world.

How to watch MasterChef Australia in the UK: Prime Video

If you’re a UK-based viewer, you can watch the competitive cooking show on Amazon Prime Video. Customers will be able to watch seasons one to eleven of MasterChef Australia, spanning a whopping decade, from the first season which aired in 2009 to season eleven’s 2019 debut.

You’ll get plenty of bang for your buck, too. There are between 60 and 86 episodes per season of MasterChef Australia, so your commute/evening wind-down/Sunday night viewing won’t be left wanting.

Amazon Prime Video is available to UK users for just £5.99/month – or £7.99/month for the full suite of goodies that Prime has to offer (including unlimited premium delivery, music streaming, photo storage and reading). If you’re down to pay on an annual basis, you can save a bit at just £79/year (or £6.58/mth).
