How to watch Tyson Fury vs Tom Schwarz in the US, UK and abroad

Britain's Tyson Fury takes on the undefeated German Schwarz at the MGM Grand on Saturday

Tyson Fury is fighting in boxing’s hallowed chambers – MGM Grand in Las Vegas – for the first time in his storied career.

This is the Brit’s first fight after his controversial draw against Deontay Wilder in December last year. Fury has 27 wins and 1 draw from his 28 fights, 19 of which have come via knockouts.

The Gypsy King’s opponent, Schwarz, is five years younger than him and holds the WBO inter-continental heavyweight title. Like Fury, he, too, has a flawless record of 24 wins from 24 fights, although this will be his biggest fight so far.

The German last won in March this year and he has never fought outside Europe, while Fury is no stranger to the Stateside audience, having previously fought at Madison Square Garden in New York and Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Not surprisingly, Fury is the heavy favourite to triumph on Saturday, but Anthony Joshua’s surprise loss to Andy Ruiz Jnr has sent ripples across the boxing world giving hope to the underdogs and serving as a reminder to the heavy favourites that a few lapses in concentration can bring their downfall.

It has also shaken the world of heavyweight boxing. Before AJ’s loss, everyone was primed for Deontway Wilder versus Anthony Joshua with the winning claiming all four heavyweight titles.

Now Joshua will first have to recover the three heavyweight belts he lost from Andy Ruiz, while Wilder has already scheduled his fight later this year.

This means that we will neither get to see Joshua versus Wilder nor a Wilder versus Fury rematch as some people expected after last year’s sensational 12-round bout.
