Panasonic HDC-SDT750 review
At £1,200 it’s ludicrously priced, but it’s the first of its type, so if you really want to shoot in 3D you’ve little choice than to pay up.

The SDT750 can output video over HDMI using the supplied mini HDMI to HDMI cable on any 3D TV supporting the side-by-side format. We tested this on Panasonic’s Viera TX-P50VT20B HDTV and it worked seamlessly, but the same can’t be said about editing 3D content, as most video editing apps aren’t 3D aware yet. Sony Vegas Pro 10 is one that does have native support and Panasonic also supplies HD Writer AE 2.6T, which can interpret the 3D files recorded by the SDT750.
At almost £1,200, the Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is twice the price of a similarly specified 2D-only Panasonic HDC-SD700. It’s a hefty premium to pay for the privilege of recording in 3D, especially given that you also have to contend with the ridiculously cumbersome lens. It’s one for die-hard 3D enthusiasts only then, and everyone else would be wise to wait for more affordable, and better-designed, models.
