The Huawei Watch GT is half price at Amazon

Great features and incredible battery life meets a new bargain price

The Huawei Watch GT has it all: good looks, built-in GPS, incredible battery life and, now, a tempting new price.
Available as part of Amazon’s early Black Friday celebrations, the Huawei Watch GT is selling for half its usual price: just £99.99, in fact.
That’s a great price for a great wearable. First of all, it’s feature-packed, coming with a heart-rate monitor, GPS and various other sensors built-in. Typically, the more of these you have, the weaker the battery life, but because the Huawei Watch GT has a clever dual-chip system it has a battery life that can last up to 30 days.
No, the zero wasn’t a typo there: it really is thirty days. Basically, it has two chipsets: one for tracking activity and powering everything, and a second low-power one that kicks in for the 99% of the time when you’re not doing much. It really works: as Jon said in his full review, after two weeks of constant wear with a couple of hours of GPS tracking he still had 30% of his charge left.
The only drawback is a lack of app support, thanks to it using Huawei’s own wearable OS. If that matters to you, you might be better off looking at an Apple Watch or a Wear OS-based wearable. For most, though, that shouldn’t matter and everything else is positive. As Jon explained: “It looks the part, it’s comfortable to wear, the screen looks great, activity tracking works well – and battery life is stunning.”
It was a strong recommendation at £200. Now it’s £99, it’s even easier for us to endorse – especially if you have found yourself cursing a wearable’s limited stamina in the past.
