Shuttle SX58J3 review

Shuttle has done a good job of fitting Intel’s Core i7 processor into this diminutive case, but the price is too high.

[/vc_column_text]

We were sceptical of the idea at first, but this super-powered Shuttle has won us over. Its internal design is simple but effective and it’s surprisingly quiet in operation. The only problem is the price, at £417 it’s around £125 more than the cost of a decent X58 motherboard, a similarly rated power supply, a tower-style CPU cooler, and a smart-looking midi tower case. And that’s a lot of money to pay for a smaller PC, especially one that’s lacking fancy new features like USB3.
