Amazon Prime Day (23-26 June) is in full swing now, and we’ve been covering the best deals across the retailer’s vast marketplace – from discounts on the latest tech to cheap coffee machines, fans and more.
When it comes to mattresses and bedding, however, Amazon’s Prime Day sale is usually not so lucrative. I’m accustomed to seeing most mattress deals directly on the brand’s online store, particularly from bed-in-a-box companies. For instance, Simba, is currently offering 25% off its mattresses. This brings the Hybrid Pro – a supportive and comfortable mattress that we gave five stars and a Best Buy Award – down from £1,299 to £974 (in a double size).
However, this year’s Prime Day sees the Hybrid Pro discounted even further on Simba’s Amazon storefront: a double is currently £925, almost £50 cheaper than the deal offered on the brand’s website. Let’s crunch the numbers for the rest of the sizes:

What did we think of the Simba Hybrid Pro?
We last reviewed the Simba Hybrid Pro in November 2024. As with many hybrid bed-in-a-box mattresses, it’s made from a combination of springs and memory foam: the Hybrid Pro contains layers of micro springs as well as full-size pocket springs and an upper layer of British wool for comfort and temperature regulation.
We found it very comfortable and supportive. It’s on the pricier end of the spectrum as far as bed-in-a-box brands are concerned, but it’s also one of the best mattresses we’ve reviewed.
Is this deal any good?
After Simba got into a bit of hot water with the CMA for its online sales practices, the brand doesn’t offer anywhere near as many deals as it used to (back when I first started paying attention, these promotional offers took place on a weekly basis). That makes deals events such as Prime Day and Black Friday the best time to buy.
I’m not entirely sure why Simba’s Amazon Prime Day deals are better than the ones on its own site but, as far as we’re aware, there’s no catch. Since the mattress is shipped and sold by Simba from their official Amazon storefront, you’ll still get a 200-night trial period and 10-year warranty.
