As part of the Black Friday deals event, Amazon and GHD have both respectively knocked more than 20% off a number of GHD products including the GHD Air dryer and the Original professional styler.
We’re big fans of the GHD Air; it’s one of our favourite luxury dryers and makes our list of the best hair dryers on the market. It typically retails for £99 but is on offer for £78.99. There are also price drops on the Original Professional Styler hair straighteners, as well as discounts on a range of GHD bundles, curling tongs and more.

As with all the best Black Friday deals, the discounts are only available for a limited time so get these offers before they end, or stocks run out. The benefit from buying from Amazon, particularly if you’re an Amazon Prime member, is that you’ll get fast delivery. GHD deliveries are free but can take up to three days to arrive.
The benefit of buying from GHD is that if you use the code GHDXBF, you’ll get a free gift with £14.50 with every elgible purchase. GHD prices are marginally lower too, albeit by pennies.
It’s not clear how long these brilliant deals will last, but if you’re looking for a relatively cheap way to buy the best hair dryers and best hair straighteners around, look no further.

The best saving is on the GHD Original professional styler, one of GHD’s first hair straightener designs and still one of its best. It helps you straighten, curl and create cute flicks in your hair without causing too much damage, thanks to the ceramic plates. It also has a 30-minute automatic sleep mode so you’ll never have to worry about having left your straighteners on ever again. The GHD Original IV professional styler usually retails for £109 but can be yours for just £81.99 for a limited time.
GHD Air hair dryer: Was £99, now £79
The GHD Air hair dryer is one of the best on the market – so good we’ve included it in our best hair dryers list. It looks and feels stylish, with a comfy handle and even weight making it easy to hold for long periods; ideal if you’ve got thick or curly hair. It has three temperature settings and three speed modes, each of which provides a steady, quiet stream of heated air. The GHD Air usually costs £99 but is on sale for £78.99.
Alternatively, you can get the GHD Air with its diffuser, a roller brush and two sectioning clips for £91.99, down from £115.
GHD Platinum+ hair straighteners: Was £175, now £155
What we consider to be the best hair straighteners on the market – the GHD Platinum Plus – are also included in the sale in both black and white. We think the black is the more stylish of the two, and the white can end up looking a little mucky if you get hair products on it, but both perform fantastically well.
Billed as “one-stroke-wonders”, the plates on the GHD Platinum Plus are designed to deliver the optimum heat for your hair, meaning you don’t have to repeatedly straighten the same section, potentially causing damage. This speeds things up immensely and made our hair feel much softer, without losing the bounce that some straighteners cause. Both normally cost £175 but are 11% cheaper at £155. This is a lot to spend on hair straighteners but you’ll save time, as well as money on writing the wrongs of any damage other straighteners can do.

GHD Max Professional hair styler: Was £135, now £109
For longer hair, or if your hair is particularly thick and unruly, is the GHD Max Professional hair styler. It has the same automatic sleep sensor as the Original IV but larger ceramic plates to cover more hair in a single motion. The plate measures 8.5cm by 5.08cm; the Original has standard size 2.5cm plates. It has a plastic top that slides onto the straighteners, to protect yourself and any surfaces, and it heats up to 185 degrees Celsius. The Max usually retails for £135 but is now £109.
GHD Gold Professional Styler: Was £149, now £110
The GHD Gold Professional styler takes things up a notch. It has a smoother, more compact style and, as the name suggests, has gold-coloured accents throughout its design. Its dual-zone technology means it has two new generation heat sensors, rather than one, which helps control the heat to give you a smooth look without damaging your hair. It has a 25-second heat up time and the same automatic sleep mode found on other top-end hair straighteners in the GHD range. The Gold Professional styler usually costs £139 but is on sale for £110.

GHD Creative Curl Wand: Was £120, now £104
If curly hair is more you thing, the GHD Creative Curl Wand and GHD Curve Soft Curl Tong are additionally on offer. The £120 Curl Wand heats up in just 25 seconds and its tapered barrel makes it easy to create a wide range of curls and waves. It uses a similar “ultra-zone” technology as the GHD Platinum+ to respond to your hair and heat it effectively. A nice touch is that it has a safety stand so you don’t need to place it on your dressing table, or bed, and cause any heat damage.
GHD Curve Soft Curl Tong: Was £120, now £96
The GHD Curve Soft Curl Tong, as the name suggests, is designed to create softer, more natural curves than the Creative Curl Wand.
