Our Rating
Logic3's i-Station, a set of portable speakers and docking station, nearly manages to pass as an official iPod product.
The docking station part is great and it ditches the need for Apple's expensive (£16) proprietary cables with standard FireWire and USB ports.
The speakers generate enough decent sound for a hotel room. Should you not feel like carting around the power adaptor, itself as big as the speakers, then four AA batteries will do.
At £50 it's only £4 more expensive than an Apple dock and FireWire cable and, as it does more, it's a worthwhile purchase for any iPod owner who doesn't have a dock.
