Three SIM deals have a reputation for delivering big savings with a capital B, I and G, and this is certainly no exception: three free months of unlimited 5G data when you sign up for the two-year SIM-only plan. The price will then rise to £24/mth from month four, which is still a competitive tariff, and you’ll be saving a not-too-shabby £72 by not paying anything for three months. If you’re looking to bump up your data allowance or switch to a new provider, it’s a no-brainer.
And there’s never been a better time to hop aboard: as we explain in more detail below, Three was the worthy recipient of four stars out of five in our most recent review, where we explained that its “speeds and coverage are improving fast, and it’s ahead of rivals with its 5G rollout”.
As always with Three SIM deals this delicious, ensure you take advantage of it sooner rather than later because it might not last for long.
As we mentioned above, we singled out Three’s rapidly improving 4G and 5G speeds, growing coverage and reliability in our in-depth, dedicated review. We even went as far as dubbing it a “Three-naissance”, with the company easily going toe-to-toe with big-hitters EE and Vodafone – while charging its customers a lot less. It wasn’t all good news, though, because Three still has a way to go when it comes to customer service.
And it hasn’t finished with the deals yet: if you already know that you definitely won’t need unlimited data, you can plump for 250GB for £20/mth, 120GB for £16/mth, 25GB for £14/mth, 12GB for £12/mth or 4GB for £9/mth. All of the plans last for two years, with nothing at all to pay until the fourth month.
However, we’d still argue that the unlimited or 250GB plans are the pick of the Three SIM deals here: you’d be hard-pressed to find better offers directly from its competitors – and that’s before you even take the three free months into account. Once again, get in there as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment.
