Best Chromebook deal this Black Friday

Acer Chromebook Spin 513 CP513-1H (was £400, now £299)

The Chromebook Spin 513 is unusual in that it uses a Qualcomm processor - the Snapdragon 7c - instead of an Intel or Mediatek chip to power it. That ensures solid battery life as well as snappy performance, and the price isn't bad on Black Friday either: it has been reduced by 25% from £400 to £299.

1. Asus Chromebook Flip CX5500FEA (was £600, now £500)

There are plenty of Chromebooks that come with a 360-degree hinge and touchscreen but not many also come bundled with a stylus for sketching and taking notes like this handsome Asus machine. On top of that, it has a huge 15.6in display, an Intel Core i3-111G4 CPU, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD for storage.

This is a phenomenal deal, too, with £169 off the previous average price of £499.

There's nothing fancy here - no 360-degree hinge nor touchscreen - but, for £230, down from an average price of £367, it's an outright bargain. Also note that the Intel Core m3 version of the C425TA is also on sale for £250, down from an average price of £362.

10. Lenovo IdeaPad Duet Chromebook (was £280, now £199)

Second, it has a crisp screen and surprisingly rich audio. Third, it looks great. Finally, and most importantly, it lasted a gargantuan 16 hours and 14 minutes in our battery life test.
