I love the Asus Zenbook A14 and it’s now on sale for a song in the Amazon Spring Sale

The Asus Zenbook A14 is a veritable bargain at £650 - not the lowest it has ever been but this is a hell of a laptop for the money

Weighing less than a kilogram, the Asus Zenbook A14 slots neatly into that category of laptops that you can slide into a bag and not notice is there. It looks quite lovely, too, and it’s now been reduced to the tempting price of £650 in the Amazon Spring Deal Days sale 2026.

This is one of the best lightweight Windows laptops money can buy and in addition to its gorgeous lightweight chassis, it comes with a 1080p OLED screen, 16GB of RAM and a generous 1TB of SSD storage. Plus, it runs a Snapdragon X Plus chipset, ensuring battery life is absolutely epic.

  • In our full Asus Zenbook A14 review, we gave the tablet four stars out of five and an Expert Reviews Recommended award
  • It’s incredibly slight, very slim and yet sturdy
  • It looks great and feels wonderful to touch thanks to its matte-finish “ceralanium” paintwork
  • It has impressive battery life: in our tests, it lasted 20hrs 20mins, which makes it one of the longest lasting laptops around
  • It comes with an excellent OLED display. It doesn’t support touch but, when measured with a colorimeter, we found it to be vibrant, bright and colour accurate
  • We weren’t particularly impressed with the webcam on the Zenbook A14 – it produces rather muddy images in low light
  • The stereo speakers aren’t the best, either. Our review said that they “sound harsh, brittle and lacking in bass and warmth. They’re not all that loud, either”.
  • When I first reviewed the Zenbook A14, it was £1,100 and that’s just over a year ago
  • It has since fallen to an average of around £800 to £900 and we saw it fall to £600 during the Black Friday Sale last year, so this isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen on this laptop

During sales periods like this, we put the whole Expert Reviews team to work looking for the best deals so you don’t have to. If you want to find out more, there’s a full explanation of our methods in this dedicated article.
