Verdict:
HP's Wireless Comfort Desktop isn't bad, but there are more comfortable keyboards and mice for the same price.

Our Rating
HP's Wireless Comfort Desktop set is something of a mixed bag. The padded wrist rest feels good and the keyboard has plenty of accessible short cut buttons, but the keys need a little more resistance to them. As it stands, it's not easy to type quickly and comfortably on this keyboard.
Despite its curved 'smile' design, it's not as comfortable to type on as the other ergonomic keyboards we've used. HP has also opted not to include the Context key; this usually sits next to the Alt key and performs right-mouse clicks.
Shortcut buttons for media control are placed along the top and down the left side. There's also a traditional volume wheel, but it doesn't turn smoothly.
The right-handed optical mouse is one of the larger models on test and has two additional buttons on its left side for navigating through webpages. However, the curved design doesn't feel particularly good and those with smaller hands will struggle with it.
Logitech's Cordless Desktop Wave is a much better choice at this price.
