The Surface Pro 6 is going cheap at the Microsoft Store

Especially good if you’ve got an AMEX

The Surface Pro 6 is about as good as convertibles get for my money, and that money is currently going a bit further at the Microsoft Store.

Microsoft has slashed the price of its Surface Pro 6 devices, selling bundles with the (technically optional, but pretty much essential) Type Cover starting from just £750.

If you own an American Express card, your ears should be pricking up right about now, because you can currently get £100 cashback on payments of over £400 at the Microsoft Store too.

But back to the Surface. The £750 (or £650 for AMEX owners) deal includes a Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For £900 (or £800 for AMEXers), you can get the same with double the storage space. Though you probably don’t need to spend the extra unless you really want it in black, given it supports expandable storage via microSD card.

The bundles come with your choice of Type Cover, including a special-edition Marimekko design alongside the original Signature ones that usually go for £150 on their own. That’s all you need to add for the deal, though it may be worth looking at a Surface Pen (£100) to get the full use out of it. Or better still, buy one from Currys for £67.50.

It should go without saying that we’re big fans of the Surface Pro 6 here at Expert Reviews. As Tom wrote in his review: “For those in search of a 2-in-1 laptop that’s both stylish and speedy, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a safe bet.”

His only criticism: “It’s darn pricey, though, and the fact that it doesn’t come with a Type Cover bundled in is nothing short of a travesty.”

Given this deal fixes both of these problems, the only remaining question is “what are you waiting for?”
