This is the best Nintendo Switch deal we’ve seen so far
This early Black Friday Switch offer bundles in a copy of the new Pokemon game
Good deals on the Nintendo Switch are far and few between, but with Black Friday on the horizon, we can expect to see a few bargains on the ever-popular console in the coming weeks.
This one from Currys bundles in the Pokemon Shield game for £279. That’s the standard price of a Switch on its own, and will save you £45 on the collective price of the console and the game. It’s certainly worth considering if you’re excited about the prospect of a fully fledged new Pokemon entry.
Currys is also running a similar deal on the cheaper Switch Lite, bundling in a copy of Pokemon Sword for a price of £219. The Switch Lite is smaller and lighter than the normal Switch, but it can only be played in handheld mode.
Nintendo’s approach means that the Switch is the only console that plays Pokemon Shield, as well as other mainstays such as the Mario and Zelda series. If you were toying with the idea of buying a Switch specifically to hunt imaginary monsters, here’s the excuse you were looking for.
