These Black Friday Samsung Galaxy Watch deals are UNMISSABLE
The latest Samsung Galaxy watches are cheaper than ever in Amazon’s Black Friday deals event
Right now at Amazon, you can nab the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for their lowest-ever prices. These Samsung Galaxy Watch deals are genuinely unprecedented: both smartwatches launched too recently to have enjoyed any significant discounts, and even though the Watch 4 Classic dipped in price in October it didn’t reach the lows that we’re seeing this Black Friday.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (Bluetooth only) is currently £199, down from a launch price of £249. The Watch 4 Classic (Bluetooth only), meanwhile, is sitting at £291, down from a rather hefty RRP of £369. The 4G/LTE versions are also on offer, although you’ll pay more for the privilege: the Watch 4 4G is £239, down from £289 and the Watch 4 Classic is £334, down from £409.
These are exceptional discounts across the board, particularly for a product as new as the Galaxy Watch 4.
We rate the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic very highly indeed, as it happens. In our positive four-star review, we praised the Watch 4 Classic’s surprising performance and aggressively competitive price (when compared to its main competition, the Apple Watch). In fact, we found plenty to like with both watches: from the new AMOLED display to the metal chassis (stainless steel for the Classic, aluminium for the standard Watch 4), we reckon these are Samsung’s best Galaxy wearables to date.
There’s not that much that separates the two watches. Aside from the casing, the Watch 4 Classic is available in larger sizes (42mm and 46mm) than the Watch 4 (40mm and 44mm) and has a physical rotating bezel where the Watch 4 has a touch-based digital one. Both have three buttons on the right-hand side and 16GB of storage beneath the hood.
Both run a version of Google’s Wear OS that has been tailored by Samsung to suit its watches. From the watch, you can track a comprehensive set of fitness metrics, check and respond to messages and emails, navigate using Google Maps and even pay using Google Pay. A 40-hour battery life should keep the lights on for a couple of days at a stretch, although like its rival from Apple you’ll be better off charging it every day.
As far as we’re concerned, these are the best smartwatches you can buy that aren’t made by Apple. Even at their original prices, both watches represented decent value for money; at these discounted prices, however, they’re a bona fide bargain. Act now to avoid missing out.
