But these beauties (the wearables, not the experts) don’t usually come cheap – so don’t miss these STUNNING Black Friday deals.
The most exciting price cuts we’ve seen so far include a rare discount on the high-end Garmin Enduro, now a whopping £320 off from SportShoes. We’ve also found epic Amazon savings on the Garmin Instinct Solar, now 50% off, and the brilliant five-star Garmin Forerunner 245, now 40% off at £149. Over at Argos there’s a bonkers £270 off the five-star Garmin Fenix 6X Pro, down from £600 to £330.

Garmin Enduro: mind-boggling battery for a MASSIVE £320 off
SportsShoes’ £320-off deal is the best we’ve found anywhere on the Enduro, a superb device that normally costs £650 and is rarely discounted. The Enduro beats other high-end Garmin sports watches on battery life, which is ridiculously good, and for its large, sharp, clear 1.4in screen.
Our four-star review knocked off a point for the Enduro’s lack of onboard maps or local music storage, which Garmin has added in the Enduro 2. But the original Enduro is ideal for endurance athletes and multi-day adventurers, thanks to its ton of activity-tracking features and that insane battery life.
Garmin Fenix 6X Pro: HUNDREDS off this five-star superstar
This time our expert reviewer didn’t hesitate to award five stars. The amazing Fenix 6X Pro boasts unrivalled sports-tracking tools plus a large, bright screen and superb battery life of 60 hours with GPS switched on. Be aware that the Fenix 6 range has a few variations, including the Fenix 6 Pro (down from £330 to £300) and the Fenix 6 Solar. The Fenix 6X Pro is our fave – and by FAR the best Black Friday deal in the range.
Garmin Instinct Solar: tracking companion for MUCH less cash
The Garmin Instinct is a solid buy all year round, with a price tag of £270 when we first gave it a four-star review. Its Solar edition is normally quite a bit more expensive than that, as you’d expect, with an RRP of £320 and an average Amazon price of £243, but it’s now crashed to £160. That’s an amazing price for many of the features you’d normally associate with Garmin’s more expensive Fenix range such as GPS tracking and navigation tools, and the usual 14-day battery life is vastly extended by solar charging. A brilliant expendition companion at a stunning Black Friday price.
Garmin Forerunner 245 with music: music to our ears!
Here’s a great Garmin for you if you need music while you run. Our five-star review hailed the Garmin Forerunner 245 With Music as a brilliant all-round running watch, with decent battery life and a host of accurate and detailed sports tracking features, as well as music playback. Although the new Forerunner 255 is EVEN better (“the best just got better”, our review said), the Forerunner 245 is still an outstanding device, especially now: down from the usual £300 to a ridiculous £180. Grab it now before it, er, runs off.
Regular Garmin Forerunner 245: nicely-priced all-rounder
The regular Garmin Forerunner 245 may lack music playback, but it’s “a brilliant all-round running watch” that delivers excellent GPS and heart rate accuracy, plus superb battery life. Its average Amazon price is £176, but right now you can get it for £149.
Garmin Forerunner 55: an even BETTER buy than usual
The four-star Forerunner 55 is a great running watch for beginners, with a whole load of running features at a reasonable price. Amazon’s Black Friday sale cuts its price to £130 – down from an average price of £144.

Garmin watches divide into several categories, including the classic Fenix and Forerunner, plus the newer Enduro and Instinct ranges. There’s actually loads of crossover in features and design, with nearly all of Garmins offering fitness tracking, health monitoring and smartphone notifications. But there are some key differences that’ll help you find your perfect Black Friday Garmin buy.
Forerunners are chiefly aimed at runners, although you can increasingly use the watches to track all sorts of sports. They all pack GPS, so you can leave your phone at home and run without bulk. The Fenix range is higher up the Garmin totem pole, with tons of features in a rugged, outdoorsy frame and with premium prices to match, so Argos’s Black Friday Fenix 6X Pro bargain is a belter.
The Garmin Instinct is a kind of stripped-back Fenix, and more affordable. The Enduro also shares many Fenix features, but this time its key selling point is its unbelievable 60-day battery life. The Enduro 2 adds maps and music, but the original Enduro doesn’t, which may be why SportsShoes has seen to whack well over £300 off its price!
