The Game Easter sale is too good to miss

Game has launched an Easter sale on consoles, games and accessories

Easter at Game is less about chocolate and more about sales. That’s great news for anyone hoping to avoid the cavity-inducing stresses of the holiday period, and better still for those looking to score a deal on a Nintendo Switch console.

This year’s Game Easter sale encompasses a wide range of products. You can bag a PS4 or Xbox One at exceptionally low prices, and if you missed one of last year’s biggest releases – like Red Dead Redemption 2 or the Spyro Reignited trilogy – you can grab them relatively cheaply. There’s even a selection of gaming PCs and laptops on offer.

We’ve cherry-picked our favourite items currently on offer in the Game Easter sale. Here are the highlights.

PS4 Slim 500GB with Red Dead Redemption 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and 2 month Now TV subscription – was £310, now £280

This bundle is a great introduction to the PS4 gaming world. Red Dead Redemption 2 is widely regarded as one of the best games ever made, and we’re very pleased to see the brand new Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – from the team behind Dark Souls – make an appearance as well.

Xbox One X 1TB with The Division 2, South Park: Fractured But Whole, Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset, The Division, and 2 months Now TV – was £490, now £460

There’s not a console alive that can match the Xbox One X for power. Fortunately, this Game deal will set you up with a 4K-ready console, both games in The Division franchise, and two other cracking titles as well. All for the price of the console.

Both of these bundles come with a two month Now TV subscription, which would give you access to the final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones (beginning on 14 April) among other shows.

Nintendo Switch Neon with Yoshi’s Crafted World, The Lego Movie 2 Videogame, and GameWare Switch starter kit – was £368, now £320

With two great new games – Yoshi’s Crafted World in particular is a joy to behold – and a starter kit containing a case, Joy-Con grips and bumper covers, this is a cracking £48 saving on a console that’s perfect for the entire family.

On the games front, you can currently grab the phenomenal Resident Evil 2 remake for £35; Just Cause 4 for a very reasonable £25; or something older, like Fallout 4 GOTY edition, for £14.

If you’re serious about performance and are considering investing in a desktop PC, Game is currently cutting prices on some of its pre-built gaming rigs as well. The Yoyotech Warbird i5, for example, is on sale for a discount of £150 – you’ll still be paying a cool £1,000, but that’s for a medium-to-high spec PC with 250GB lightning-fast SSD storage, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card, and a very sleek NZXT case.

Of course, there’s plenty of alternatives if these don’t catch your eye, which you can find on the Game website. Remember to search by platform (PS4, Xbox One) for a full list of game deals.
