It’s Cyber Monday, which means the Black Friday sales are almost over. I’m still bringing my eight years of expertise to bear to save you as much money as I possibly can: with discounts live across thousands of products from TVs, smartphones, tablets and laptops to air fryers, coffee machines, vacuum cleaners and much, MUCH more, there’s still time to pull the trigger on those essential life purchases that might otherwise be out of your price range.
At Expert Reviews, we’ll be covering Black Friday the only way we know how: by bringing you only the absolute best savings on the products we’ve tried, tested and recommended.
This page is your one-stop-shop for Black Friday bargains across all of our key categories. I’ll be cherry-picking the best deals across home, tech and sleep and serving them up right here; if that doesn’t wet your whistle, I’ll also leave links to our individual category pages – stacked with even more bargains – below too.
Because we use specialist tools and over a decade of expertise to ensure that the discounts we recommend are genuinely good. And by good, we mean either a) better than the 12-month average OR b) better than ever. If a discount doesn’t meet these criteria, we won’t recommend it – and we may actively warn you against it.
Read on for the only guide to the Black Friday deals period you need.

When is Black Friday 2025?
This year, Black Friday officially falls on Friday 28 November.
Amazon’s deals event formally began on Thursday 20 November, but other retailers started earlier – Very, Currys and John Lewis all launched their Black Friday deals events on or around Monday 3 November.
Where to find the best non-Amazon Black Friday deals
November is here, and Black Friday has well and truly begun. Every major retailer has launched its November sales event, and while we can’t promise that Amazon won’t match some of these discounts, retailers such as John Lewis price match with major competitors, so you should at least keep tabs on the discounts that catch your eye.
Here are some sample discounts to explore:
- John Lewis
- Very
- AO
Some of the biggest brands – such as Ninja, Dyson, Samsung and Shark – are also jumping aboard the Black Friday bandwagon, with hefty savings on everything from air fryers to gaming monitors. As always, we recommend you shop around fully before committing to a purchase – and don’t be hasty. You’ve got until 1 December, after all!
What is Cyber Monday and when is it?
Cyber Monday takes place on the Monday immediately after Black Friday and sees retailers offer even more discounts. In 2025, that day falls on Monday 1 December.
This represents your last chance to take advantage of the Black Friday bargains, so if you remember one single thing from this article, remember this: Cyber Monday – and the wider Black Friday deals period – ends at midnight on 1 December 2025.
How can I tell if a Black Friday deal is good?
At Expert Reviews, we use freely available tools such as CamelCamelCamel, Pricespy and Keepa to check the historic price data of every deal we assess. Wherever possible, we compare the current deal price to the recent all-time low and 12-month average to determine whether a deal is worth recommending – this guarantees that we don’t recommend artificially inflated discounts or discounts that were beaten earlier in the year (over Prime Day, for example).
If you want to do your own deal-sleuthing, these are the tools that we recommend you use – but you can also simply keep an eye on our site. We have the benefit of decades of experience a) covering deals events and b) testing the latest products, which we use to only recommend genuinely good deals on products we’ve tested and rated highly.
If we ever recommend a discount on a product that wasn’t rated highly, we’ll always explain why – usually, we feel that the price drop offsets any major reservations we had at the time of review.
Why are there so many Amazon deals?
We often find ourselves recommending Amazon deals more than any other retailer. There are two reasons for this: first is that price-tracking tools such as Keepa only work with Amazon, so we’re inclined to go with the place where we have the most visible data.
The second is simply that in our experience, Amazon will almost always match or improve upon deals offered by other retailers – so even though we don’t necessarily recommend solely shopping at Amazon, during a deals event it makes sense to go where the best discount is. This is our only motivation: to find the cheapest possible deal.
