Panasonic Experience 2026: (Almost) everything revealed at the brand’s showcase in Germany

Panasonic is releasing loads of new products across a huge range of categories this year, and I got an early look at them at an event in Ottobrunn

The biggest news from the Panasonic Experience 2026 was that Chinese company Skyworth is effectively taking over the Japanese brand’s TV operations in Europe and the US.

However, Panasonic also took the opportunity to showcase a whole slew of new products in the various other categories it operates in. I was in Ottobrunn, Germany, to cast a beady eye over them and get hands on with as much as possible. A few really stood out, and there were a couple that I’m not allowed to talk about just yet, but rest assured that we’ll be requesting review samples and looking to test the most appealing of them soon.

After dropping the bombshell that it had partnered with Skyworth, Panasonic revealed its entire TV range for 2026, which features OLED, Mini LED, QLED and LED sets. You can read more about the models that are making their way to the UK here.

But it also showed some love to audio, debuting new products being released under the Panasonic brand as well as those from its premium audio arm, Technics.

The limited run Technics SL-1200GME

The Technics SL-1500CS is a high-end turntable that uses the same delta-sigma technology as the limited-run SL-1200 Grand Master Edition (GME). With a built-in phone equaliser, gorgeous design and dual-drive tech ensuring incredibly accurate music reproduction, it’s a vinyl enthusiast’s dream. At £1,099, it’s also a fraction of the price of the SL-1200GME; only 5,000 of those have been made, and each costs £4,999.

The Panasonic BMAX5, BMAX10 and BMAX30 portable Bluetooth speakers

Joining Panasonic’s existing range of portable party speakers is the new Panasonic SC-BMAX30. This beefy Bluetooth speaker is a big step up from its stablemates – the BMAX5 (£230) and BMAX10 (£300) – in terms of size and sonic output, and comes with a periscopic handle and wheels with which you can move it around. Capable of pumping out 320W and complete with LED lighting, an IPX4 rating for water resistance and Bluetooth multipoint pairing, the BMAX30 releases next month and will cost £400.

It may not be the biggest player in the mobile phone industry, but Panasonic occupies a couple of important niches – Elderly Mobile Phones (EMP) and 4G Feature Phones – and is upping its presence within them in 2026.

The KX-TF600 flip-phone and KX-TU260 fall into the latter category, and are cheap, basic mobile solutions, while the KX-TU410 is a flip-phone that has an SOS emergency call button, and large keys to make it more accessible to those who struggle with fancy devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

Panasonic’s toothbrush and water flosser ranges are getting a shake-up this year, with new models in each of its three main series, ranging from the cheap and cheerful Series 300 toothbrush (DCA3) and flosser (DJ26) up to the flagship Series 800, which features the DC75 toothbrush and DJ86 flosser. New to the top-end Series 800 toothbrush are ultra-fine bristles designed to remove more bacteria from below the gumline. Our Home Editor, Gareth Thomas, can’t wait to wrap his gnashers around Panasonic’s latest tooth-related tech and see whether they’re able to brighten up his already beaming smile.

And he’ll need to take extra care of his dental hygiene over the coming months if he’s planning on consuming everything he makes while testing out Panasonic’s new range of home appliances.

One of Panasonic's new microwave oven and air fryer combis

The brand is launching three new devices that combine the functionality of an air fryer and a microwave (which it says can help reduce cooking times by up to 36%), a microwave/grill, and a new hot/cold blender.

It also debuted a new bread maker that doubles as an ice cream maker. Yes, you read that right, and having tried some matcha ice cream made in this dual-purpose product, I can say I’m totally on board.

Panasonic's new bread maker than doubles as an ice cream maker

Panasonic’s focus here is not to get you gorging on sugary snacks or over-indulging on golden brown goodness. It is, in fact, trying to make creating meals from healthier, unprocessed ingredients a quicker and simpler process. The UK currently tops the charts in Europe when it comes to consuming ultra-processed foods, blowing the competition out of the water with 50.7% of what we eat containing UPFs. To put that figure into perspective, Portugal’s figure (literally and likely figuratively) is way down at around 10%.

As well as taking an active interest in what you’re putting into your body, Panasonic’s new batch of products includes gizmos and gadgets for ensuring you’re looking, and consequently feeling, your best.

The Panasonic 900 Series shaver

The brand won Electric Shaver of the Year at our Product of the Year Awards with the Panasonic Series 900s in January, and its stablemates, the Series 900 Plus and Series 900, are both getting upgrades in 2026. The former has a new OLED display and is the first six-blade shaver the manufacturer has produced, with the finishing blades said to be up to 50% more efficient and less likely to cause redness and irritation. The latter, meanwhile, will be available with a new cleaning station.

Panasonic also took me through its “Lady care” range, which includes everything from heated eyelash curlers to hair dryers using high voltage, electrostatically atomised water particles that strengthen hair and reduce split ends by up to 50%. Sadly, my ends split, upped and left a couple of decades ago.

Finally, Panasonic revealed a new shotgun microphone attachment for its Lumix cameras.

The Lumix DMW-DS1 shotgun microphone attachment

The DMW-DMS1 is designed to screw onto the accessory mount of some of the brand’s most popular snappers, including the Lumix S5II, S5IIX, S1II, S1RII, and S1IIE. It also teased a new product arriving in March, but, sadly, we’ll have to wait until next month to find out more about that.

So, that’s a whistlestop tour of the Panasonic Experience 2026. As you can see, the company is certainly not short of exciting new products, and we’ll be putting as many of them as possible through their paces as the year progresses.

It’s going to be fascinating to see how Chinese involvement affects Panasonic’s future as a TV brand, but regardless of what happens in that area, the brand’s Japanese heritage looks set to shine through across countless other categories.
