  • Amazon is running its Spring Deal Days sale for a whole week. From 10-16 March, there are savings to be had on TVs, laptops, kitchen appliances and more
  • Our team of experts has been analysing deals within their specialist areas, poring over the price history and average prices of their favourite tried-and-tested products
  • The De’Longhi Stilosa is already a great manual espresso machine on a budget, but you can currently get it for just £80 in the Amazon Spring Deal Days sale
  • That’s £10 off its average Amazon price, and also the cheapest we’ve seen the Stilosa

An espresso machine can be a hefty investment, especially if you’re looking for a good quality machine with which to kickstart your manual espresso hobbyist lifestyle. Enter the De’Longhi Stilosa (EC230). This delightful little machine is not far off the £100 at full price, which is already great value when you consider how well it performs.

What’s more, in Amazon’s Big Deal Days sale, you can currently get the Stilosa for just £80. That’s one of the best coffee machine deals we’ve seen so far this Amazon Spring Sale.

Here at Expert Reviews, we’ve reviewed over 120 coffee machines. The De’Longhi Stilosa (EC230) was awarded five stars and a Best Buy award, as well as being crowned Espresso Machine of the Year at the Expert Reviews Product of the Year Awards 2026.

There are a few models of the Stilosa machine to be aware of, with the EC230 being the one that wowed us. It’s compact, and wonderfully simple to use – a chunky rocker button on the side switches it on and off, and a dial on the face of the machine switches between espresso steam and hot water.

You’ve got a 1l water tank, and two unpressurised portafilter baskets for both single and double espresso shots. The emphasis on “unpressurised” is key here: while many budget espresso machines come with pressurised baskets for ease of use, an unpressurised one gives you greater control and much better potential for a good shot of espresso.

For such a cheap machine, the De’Longhi Stilosa (EC230) produces impressive results. Take it from espresso aficionado and Expert Reviews alumni Sasha Muller:

“Side by side with coffee machines that retail at 5-to-10 times the price, the Stilosa held its own. There was perhaps a little less body in the cup, and the balance of tart fruit and sweetness was a little less pronounced, but then this wasn’t a blind test. Ultimately, if you feed it freshly roasted, freshly ground coffee – and you have a good grinder – the Stilosa pours a very good espresso.”

As for milk, the De’Longhi Stilosa (EC230) comes with a proper metal steam wand. Steaming milk manually is always going to be quite tricky to get the hang of, but we managed to get some lovely silky microfoam with the Stilosa.

As I mentioned above, the De’Longhi Stilosa (EC230) is currently £80 in Amazon’s Spring Deal Days sale. To put this deal into context, that’s £25 cheaper than its usual RRP at Argos, and £10 cheaper than its average Amazon price over the last 180 days. In short, while the Stilosa is rarely ever going to break the bank, this is a good deal.

For the sake of comparison, I should also add that you can get the same deal on the De’Longhi Stilosa (EC230) directly from De’Longhi, where it’s currently down from £106 to £80.
