Big specs leak puts Samsung Galaxy Note 10 ahead of the S10
Samsung’s imminent Galaxy Note 10 is getting some mega upgrades
As the wait for the hotly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 10 reaches its last few weeks, a new leak has hinted some exciting new upgrades. In fact, if the leaked specs actually come to fruition, it could give the Galaxy Note 10 a substantial edge on Samsung’s current flagship, the Galaxy S10.

Reputable leaker Steve H McFly (@OnLeaks) has revealed in a tweet that, according to his sources, the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 might come equipped with the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, as opposed to the widely used Snapdragon 855.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus boasts impressive performance, delivering zippy speeds, the capacity for an in-screen fingerprint sensor and – on devices with the bundled X50 modem – 5G networking capabilities.

If the Galaxy Note 10 Pro does come equipped with the powerful new chipset, it’ll place the handset ahead of its sibling, the Galaxy S10, which was released in March of this year.
The leak wasn’t definitive, however, with the news that the alternative chipset to power the phablet could perhaps be Samsung’s homebrew Exynos 9825. Again, this undermines previous rumours that suggested the Galaxy Note 10 Pro would come powered by the older Exynos 9820.

But there’s more than just chipsets to get excited about: McFly has also pointed to an S Pen with “Air Actions” gestures. While it’s not exactly clear what this means, we’d hazard a guess that this might be the “gesture control” we’ve been hearing so much about – enabling you to perform tasks on your phone without physically interacting with the screen.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S10’s battery-sharing Wireless PowerShare tool looks set for a revival on the Note 10, but with another specs boost. While the Galaxy S10 reportedly shares 4.5W of power, McFly’s leak suggests its bigger brother will be able to donate a whopping 15W of power via its PowerShare function. Get ready to be pestered…
