On average, this one has sold for £309 across all retailers since launch, meaning you’ll be saving a momentous £169. Compared to its RRP of £400 upon release two years ago, the Galaxy Watch 3 offers even more astounding value and is one of the best smartwatch savings we’ll see leading up to Black Friday.
It pays to be quick on deals like this. Stock is dwindling fast – only the 45mm Mystic Black colourway is available at this outstanding price point – so don’t just watch, purchase while you still can.
As an everyday smartwatch/fitness tracker, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is a truly cost-effective pick. Building on the original Galaxy Watch, the second iteration – yes, the ‘three’ title is a little misleading – has all the same features like GPS, NFC and heart rate monitoring but also adds other fitness features like blood-oxygen monitoring, VO2 max readings and general fitness estimations.
It doesn’t run WearOS used by newer Samsung smartwatches like Galaxy Watch 4, but we still found the Tizen operating system to be a solid performer. Metrics are clearly laid out and should you want to prioritise some over others, there is a range of watch faces to pick from. Navigating all the health apps is made quick and easy via its rotating bezel too, which is a key part of its overall design that looks as elegant on-wrist as a smartwatch can.
In our full-length Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 review, this amounted to us giving it four stars – and that’s a solid performance, although we had one major criticism that stopped it from receiving any greater gongs: the £400 price point.
Two years down the line and as part of the Black Friday bargains currently on offer, this smartwatch is the cheapest it has ever been, and well worth your attention at 65% less than that launch price.
