I’d jump at the chance to upgrade my home entertainment setup with this Amazon Spring Sale deal on an enormous LG C4 OLED

  • Amazon is bundling the 77in LG C4 OLED with the LG US40TR 4.1-channel sound system for an all-time low price of £1,599 during the Amazon Spring Sale.
  • That’s incredible value for money for a TV that earned a five-star rating and Recommendation when we reviewed it.
  • The bundle is £400 cheaper than it’s ever been before, and less than half the price the TV alone cost when it was released in 2024.

LG’s new range of OLED TVs will be released very soon, but if you’re not overly concerned about having the latest and greatest, then this incredible Amazon Spring Sale TV deal on the 77in LG C4 OLED and LG US40TR soundbar system is not to be missed.

Amazon currently has the home entertainment bundle available for £1,599; an incredible price for such a huge OLED TV, and a truly ASS (Amazon Spring Sale)-tounding one for an enormous OLED, a soundbar, subwoofer and two rear speakers.

So, if you’re looking for a total overhaul of your home cinema setup, this deal is worth some serious consideration. The pair have been available together before, but they’ve never been anywhere near this cheap. In December last year, we saw them going for £1,999, which was, until now, their lowest price.

This Amazon Spring Deal Days price blows that out of the water. To put that price in a bit of competitor context, the 55in model of our favourite TV from last year, the Panasonic Z95B, costs £1,699, while the 55in Samsung S95F is listed on John Lewis for the same amount.

Here, you may not be getting as advanced a television, but you’re getting a much, much bigger screen and all those aforementioned speakers to help amp up your audio experience. And let’s be real, for most people, the C4 OLED is more than advanced enough to meet their needs; if you’ve not bought a new telly in the past five or so years, it’ll be a huge upgrade.

When Stephen Withers reviewed it in 2024, the 77in model cost £3,199. It wasn’t that screen size he tested – he looked at the 65in model – but he was extremely impressed by its capabilities. It produced peak highlights of over 1,000cd/m2 on a 10% window, and full-screen brightness of over 200cd/m2. Those were big numbers for an OLED at the time, and still hold up very nicely today, despite being dwarfed by newer models using more advanced panel technology.

Colour accuracy was also top drawer, with the C4 OLED returning Delta E errors of 1.2 in Filmmaker, with a score of under 3 being imperceptible to the human eye. This means the C4 can faithfully reproduce content extremely effectively, which isn’t necessarily what all consumers want – many favour punchier, more heavily saturated colours, which the C4’s other picture presets do very well – but is great to have available.

It’s also a supreme gaming TV thanks to support for 4K/144Hz across all four of its HDMI ports, LG’s Game Optimizer options, VRR and ALLM support, and lighting-fast input lag.

Then you have all the content and ease of navigation afforded by LG’s webOS smart platform. Every streaming service you could reasonably ask for is present and correct, and getting around the digital interface is very simple.

All in all, the LG C4 is one of the finest TVs we’ve tested in recent years. The average screen size of televisions in the UK is creeping up slowly, so if you’re lucky enough to have the space for a 77in model, this offer is almost too good to be true.

Paired with the LG US40TR, which has an RRP of £249, but is typically found for around £200, you’ve got picture AND audio quality sorted. The soundbar may look a little on the small side in front of such a behemoth, but the total power output of 400W is plenty to get movie night kicking off, and the inclusion of rear speakers really takes audio envelopment up to the next level.

Sadly, I don’t have the space for a 77in TV, so I’ll have to continue my tests on the 65in C6 OLED instead, but if I did, I’d be seriously considering getting Amazon to drop this bundle off to me over the weekend.
