Shark’s vacuum cleaners are well respected in the space, but we’ve got a small confession to make@ we haven’t had the NV700 in the lab for a review just yet, but we did use another Shark vacuum cleaner in the DuoClean range, the IF250, which we gave four-stars.
The DuoClean’s big deal is that it has two different brush rolls, which can clean dirt up from both carpets and hard floors without switching heads. There’s a soft brush roll for dirt and dust on hard floors, while there’s a bristly roll that cleans up carpets.
It’s also in rose gold, so not only can you clean without fiddling with different heads, but you’ll also look glamorous with it.
It’s also got an 8-metre long cord, which should make it easy enough to clean big rooms, but there’s also a lift-away module which has a detachable handheld unit, so you can clean stairs, tight spaces and soft furnishings without breaking a sweat.
Vacuum cleaners aren’t the sexiest January sales deal, but let’s face it: everyone needs a vacuum to clean up. This hoover has a smattering of premium features that make it a solid pick-up as a pet brush for cleaning up pet hairs and even an anti-allergen seal (that will lock up a reported 99.9% of dust.)
Again, we haven’t reviewed this, but the reviews on the Currys website averages out at 9.4 over 800 reviews, so it seems like most customers are a fan. Reviews all highlight the excellent suction and cleaning quality — pretty much what you want from a vacuum cleaner.
