The Dyson V11 Absolute vacuum cleaner is now available at its lowest ever price

The Dyson V11 Absolute’s only vice was its price, and now it’s been given its biggest price drop ever

When it comes to savings, there’s nothing much rarer than a Dyson deal, which is why we were so excited to find that there’s been a massive price drop on the V11 Absolute, bringing the price down from £600 to a more pocket-friendly £500.

You’ll want to jump on this deal quickly because we gave the V11 “the best performance we’ve ever seen from a cordless vacuum cleaner” when we reviewed it in May. At nearly £600, its price was quite high for a vacuum cleaner (even if it is an impressive one!) but now you can get this upgraded model for almost the retail price of the previous model; the V10 Absolute.

Dyson’s V11 Absolute is packed with useful features. Firstly, pairing its powerful motor with its new motorised high-torque cleaner head makes it powerful enough to be the only vacuum cleaner you need. More specifically, it gives a maximum of 185 air watts of suction power. The suction on the head can be adjusted to give more or less suction; stronger allows you to get deep-seated dirt out of your floors, and weaker is easier to manoeuvre.

All this power has got to mean compromising on something though, right? Wrong. Dyson upgraded the lithium-ion battery on this vacuum with battery saving technology so that it still lasts a full 60 minutes in Eco mode. If you don’t want to faff around with modes though, just set the mode to Automatic and the new Dynamic Load Sensor adjusts the power modes while you’re cleaning, depending on the floor type.

Some people worry about cordless vacuums running out of charge halfway through a clean, but you won’t need to with this vacuum. The main device has an LCD screen that tells you exactly how much time you’ve got left to hoover, the mode you’re in, as well as maintenance and blockage tips. Pretty darn high tech for a hoover, which made it worthwhile even at its RRP of £600. So with a saving this big, it’s well worthwhile!

If you find that this vacuum cleaner is still beyond your price range, then take a look at our roundup of the best Dyson deals; other V11 models are retailing for just £399!
