With the big day finally here, the Black Friday deals have been pouring in, with a fine array of offers available for smart shoppers and discounts lovers. One that caught our attention in particular is this eyebrow-raising Black Friday Samsung Galaxy S22 deal from Mobiles.co.uk.
Take up this offer, and you can secure yourself a new 128GB Samsung Galaxy S22 with no upfront cost, as well as 24 months of unlimited 5G data, calls and texts from iD Mobile for just £27/mth. All told, that’s a total cost of just £648. If that wasn’t enough, you can also claim 12 months of Disney Plus for free as part of Samsung’s current promotion.
While this deal shows immediate promise even to the untrained eye, it reveals itself as a truly top-tier offer when you break it down. Samsung currently lists the Galaxy S22 at £769 on their website, with 24 months of unlimited data on a SIM-only contract from iD Mobile costing £16/mth. Factor in the £80 yearly cost of Disney Plus, and the total price of this bundle without the deal would be £1,137.

While it may have been slightly overshadowed by the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the base model of Samsung’s latest flagship is no slouch. The immediate external and aesthetic factors of the handset hold up well, with the S22 having a particularly sleek design, a durable, IP68-rated metal frame and a palm-friendly size that gives it an edge, at least to our minds, over some of the more oversized smartphones we’ve seen in recent years.
Internally, the phone houses a speedy octa-core Exynos 2200 processor, 8GB of RAM and 3,700mAh battery. In terms of display and cameras, it also ticks boxes across the board, with a 6.1in, 120Hz FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a quad-camera array featuring a 50MP (f/1.8) main camera, as well as telephoto, ultrawide and selfie lenses.
It didn’t take the top spot on our roundup of the best mobile networks but iD Mobile did secure the win as the best choice for low-cost smartphone deals. As for why it wasn’t the best overall, our recent iD Mobile review, highlights that, while the network had improved 5G speeds and offered great deals, it fell down when it came to service and reliability surveys. Even with these negatives in play, the prices listed above are just too tantalising to pass up, so this deal is still well worth considering.
