Save nearly £100 on the excellent Sage Barista Express in this great Prime Day coffee machine deal
If you’re looking for the best coffee machine deal this Amazon Prime Day, look no further. Amazon has slashed the price of the superb Sage Barista Express to its lowest price in the last year at just £407.
The Sage Barista Express has an RRP of £630 and usually sells for around £500 on Amazon. At £407, then, it’s nearly £100 cheaper that you might normally hope to pay.
When we reviewed the Sage Barista Express we gave it a Recommended award, with Senior Editor Sasha Muller describing it as “a quality bean to cup machine” that offers “excellent espresso and brilliantly textured milk.”
It’s not a bean to cup machine in the strictest sense, since you’ll need to manually move the beans from the grinder to brew head via its 54mm portafilter. However, it does have that in-built grinder and also offers more control than you get with many single boiler machines, making it a great choice if you don’t want to have to fork out another £100-200 over the initial cost of a manual espresso machine.
Indeed, we might have bumped the excellent Barista Express up to a full 5 stars if it weren’t for its relatively lofty price tag, but with it currently selling for nearly £100 cheaper than when we tested it, that’s no reason to be put off.
Besides not having the most flexible grinder (you get a finer level of adjustment with good standalone models such as the Iberital MC2), the only caveat is that to make the most of this excellent saving you’ll need to have an Amazon Prime membership.
