HUGE Black Friday price cut on the Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop
If you’re after a sleek touchscreen laptop but aren’t a big fan of the usual four-figure price tags, then have we got news for you: Currys has slashed 40% off the price of the Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 13.3in.
Samsung’s lightweight 2-in-1 machine, whose 360-degree hinge lets you convert it swiftly into a tablet or monitor and back again, normally costs £999 – but is now just £599 for Black Friday. An astonishing price for this versatile device, which only went on sale in April.
The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 is a slim but feature-packed and military-tough Windows 11 laptop with Dolby Atmos sound and lightning-fast WiFi 6E for superb connectivity. The model on this Currys deal has silver finish and a 256GB SSD.
The full HD AMOLED touchscreen display is bright and vivid, with accurate colour reproduction and a spot-on contrast ratio, making it ideal for watching HDR content on Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime or your streamer of choice.
Under the bonnet you’ll find 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and an Intel EVO-powered 12th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, capable of delivering blazing fast performance for gamers and multimedia creators.
We haven’t reviewed the Book2 360, but we gave the more expensive (and slightly bigger) Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 15in a four-star review, and the two models have a lot in common. For example the 360-degree hinge is smooth and robust, easily allowing the display to be pushed all the way around so you can use the laptop as a touchscreen monitor, or as a tablet for sketching and note-taking.
All the computers in the Book2 360 range connect with the full Samsung Galaxy ecosystem of devices. You can add a Galaxy Tab wirelessly to the Book2 and use it as a second screen, either duplicating or extending your display with Samsung Multi Control.
In some ways, the 13.3in Book2 360 is a smarter choice than its bigger counterpart. The full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution is a little grainy on a 15in screen, but is fine on the smaller 13.3in screen. And of course, it’s a MUCH better price.
The Book2 360’s battery life can’t match the Book2 Pro, whose battery impressed our reviewer by lasting “dramatically longer than most lightweight Windows machines we’ve tested”. But given that this Currys deal makes the Book2 360 little more than HALF the price of the Book2 Pro, a slightly shorter battery life is a sacrifice we’re willing to make!
