Are you desperately searching for a good Chromebook deal this Christmas? If you are, we have good news: Amazon has launched its Christmas Chromebook sale and pushed those famously low Chromebook prices even lower. If you aren’t, well, you might as well stop reading now.
Still reading? Good, because there are a huge number of Chromebooks on offer from the likes of Acer, Asus and HP. You can expect savings of up to 30%, and prices that dip as low as £139; keeping in mind that these are lightweight, low-spec notebook laptops, of course, these discounts are still pretty unmissable.
Rather than bore you with the details, here are a few of our favourites so far.
1. Asus Chromebook C423 (was £249, now £199)
The C423 is a Chromebook that at first glance looks like a traditional laptop; unlike its competitors from HP, this Asus machine has an aluminium finish. Inside you’ll find an Intel Celeron processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. The battery life is quoted at a very impressive ten hours.
2. HP Chromebook 11-v001na (was £180, now £139)
We’ve singled out this offer simply because you’re not going to find a good Chromebook for much less than this. The HP Chromebook 11 is just like most of its siblings and rivals: with an Intel Celeron processor and 4GB RAM, it isn’t powerful, but the 16GB eMMC storage makes it lightning fast.
3. HP Chromebook 15-de0000na (was £399, now £329)
If you can stretch to it, the HP Chromebook 15 is worth the outlay. The whopping 15.6in FHD (1080p) display is the largest of the three devices here, and the design is again closer to that of a much more expensive product. The internal hardware is marginally better than the others on this list (with an Intel Pentium processor and 64GB storage) and better yet, the Chromebook 15 has the longest battery life of any of the products here.
These offers, and indeed the others currently available on Amazon, last until January, but let’s be honest: if you’re looking for a Chromebook deal now, it’s because you’re hoping to make it a Christmas present. In which case, we recommend acting fast, as currently, Amazon will deliver any one of these products in time for the big day.
