If you’re hunting for a discounted smartwatch or sports wearable, Amazon Prime Day is a fantastic opportunity. During the 48-hour sales period, you can find deals on a range of devices from brands such as Samsung, Fitbit and Garmin. Below, we’ve put together a shortlist of the best Garmin watch deals over the course of this October’s Prime Day event.
Don’t forget that, in order to make the most of the discounts during Prime Day, you’ll need to be signed up to Amazon Prime. Don’t worry, though: if you don’t want to commit to a monthly subscription, you can opt for a 30-day free trial instead.

The best Garmin smartwatch deals this Prime Day
Garmin Instinct Solar (avg £241, now £145)
When we reviewed the original Garmin Instinct, we praised the watch for its rugged build (designed for use in the great outdoors), reasonable price and impressive 14-day battery life. You get a decent range of sports-tracking modes, including open water swimming, and the Solar model (as its name suggests) comes with solar charging, plus body battery and power manager features.
Although it has now been superseded by the Instinct 2 Solar, the original Garmin Instinct Solar is still a great deal at £145.
Garmin Forerunner 245 (avg £193, now £140)
The Garmin Forerunner 245 is, as we said in our full-length review, everything a runner needs.
Although the standard Forerunner 245 doesn’t come with music playback and Spotify support (for that, you’ll have to fork out a little extra for the Forerunner 245 Music), you do get the same detailed and comprehensive run tracking, alongside a range of other sports modes (though, unfortunately, not a triathlon mode) and accurate GPS. And in this great Prime Day deal, both the berry (featured above) and black band variants of the Forerunner 245 are down to just £140.
Garmin Approach S12 (avg £143, now £100)
Garmin has manufactured a number of golf watches and, although it doesn’t join the S10 and the S62 on our roundup of the best golf GPS watches, this Garmin Approach S12 deal is still worth considering.
The Approach S12, even at full price, is an affordable golf watch. It’s simple but offers a good selection of features, including over 42,000 preloaded golf courses. And, like many of Garmin’s wearables, it’s got a very impressive battery life (up to 30 hours in GPS mode). Right now, in Amazon’s Prime Day sales, you can get it for just £100: a new low price for the wearable.
