Currys sale: Prices slashed in Currys PC World’s five-day flash payday sale

You can enjoy discounts on laptops, desktop PCs, TVs and other tech in Currys PC World's sale

If you’re among the lucky ones whose wages come in on Monday or before, then you’ll be pleased to hear that Currys PC World has just announced a flash payday sale.

Until midnight on 25 February, you can enjoy savings and discounts on a variety of products both in-store and on the retailer’s website – then head to the sale’s main page. Truth be told, it’s a bit of a curate’s egg: savings range between great, good and underwhelming. (Maybe our expectations are a tad unrealistic after the gargantuan discounts in the Black Friday and January sales?) Anyway, we’ve put together this list of the best offers in the sale. Take a look below – there might be something there for you.

Currys payday flash sale: Our pick of the best deals

10% off selected Lenovo desktops

If you’re in the market for a new desktop computer, you may want to take a look at the range of Lenovo computers that have been given a 10% discount. It includes the IdeaCentre 620S, which we gave a five-star verdict – it’s now just £431. All you’ll need to do is enter the code LENDESK10 when you hit the checkout.

10% off marked price on headphones

There are some pretty sweet savings to be enjoyed in this range of discounted headphones, which includes brands like Jabra, Skullcandy and Sony. In fact, Sony’s Sports WF-SP700N wireless headphones were already reduced from £160 to £99, but now they’re just £89.

Save up to £200 on select TVs

We’re not quite so excited about this offer – yes, you can save a couple of hundred quid, but that’s generally on high-end models like the LG OLED65C8PLA 65in4K UHD TV, which comes in at £2,499. The majority of discounts are only to the tune of £20. But hey, if you’re planning to pick up a new TV already, it still frees up some cash for something else, doesn’t it?
