With all the major retailers launching their sales one or even two weeks ahead of Black Friday, we’d started to suspect there were no more noteworthy deals or price drops to expect on Black Friday itself. But on the eve of the big day, Currys PC World has just knocked 50% off the asking price of the Shark DuoClean NV700, bringing the price of the product tumbling down from £279 to just £140.

Full disclaimer: we’ve yet to give the NV700 a whirl. But we got our hands on another cleaner from Shark’s DuoClean range, the IF250, and as you can read in our four-star review, it confirmed Shark as a vacuum-maker to be taken seriously in the market.
