If you’ve been waiting for Black Friday to buy a Dyson vacuum, wait no longer. A number of standout deals have emerged online, saving on some of the company’s most in-demand products.
The best of the bunch is a pair of bargains from Argos and John Lewis, which cut the respective costs of the V7 Animal and the V7 Motorhead down to only £199.99.
Both of these mark a £100 saving, making the cheaper of Dyson’s cordless lineup even more affordable. In our four-star review of the V7 Animal we said it was “excellent for small-sized flats with hard flooring”, and praised its bagless design and solid range of accessories.
“The V7’s 2.3kg frame makes it easy to manoeuvre and carry around. In fact, compared with the Dyson Light Ball Multi Floor, which weighs 6.9kg, the V7 is a dream to use. Also on offer at Argos is the more expensive V8 Absolute, which has also been brought down by £100 to £299.99. If you have the extra money to spend, you’ll be getting a great cordless vacuum cleaner for the money. We gave it five stars in our review.

Elsewhere, John Lewis has clipped £50 from the price of the Dyson Small Ball Animal 2, bringing it down to £199.99. It’s another excellent cleaner, corded, but a versatile, refined vacuum that’ll tackle the biggest jobs.
Finally, if you’re looking for a Dyson alternative, Argos has cut a whopping £150 from the price of the Shark anti hair wrap cordless vacuum cleaner, bringing it down to £199.99. As the name suggests, it comes with in-built technology that automatically removes hair from the brush-roll. A great choice if you have pets.
