In this brilliant Black Friday bundle, Amazon is offering the third-generation Echo Dot and Fire TV Stick Lite for a mere £25

Black Friday deals on Amazon devices don't get much better than this: you can currently pick up the Entertainment Pack containing the third-generation Echo Dot and Fire TV Stick Lite for a stunning £25, or £45 less than its usual price. Considering that both the smart speaker and streaming stick were recipients of awards in our original reviews, this is a bargain that's too good to miss.

The third-generation Echo Dot boasts a stylish fabric-clad design, the usual Alexa smarts and, most importantly, a rich sound that belies its small size. Whether you're looking to dip your toe into the world of smart speakers for the first time or want to add to your Echo fleet, it's a perfect choice. The Fire TV Stick Lite, meanwhile, is anything but lightweight: it can stream in Full HD films, gives you access to plenty of streaming platforms and lets you control your TV with your voice.

Like all of the best Black Friday deals, this reduction on the Entertainment Pack is sure to be very popular so take advantage of it while stocks last.

Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the third-generation Echo Dot contains a 1.6in speaker and looks great. Amazon replaced the cheap-feeling plastic of its predecessor with a gently curved top and fabric sides, meaning you won't want to immediately hide it away.

In our tests, the Echo Dot's sound was richer, warmer, more bassy and louder than the previous iteration. We'd still recommend hooking it up to another sound system if possible, but it's good enough to be used on its own.

The Fire TV Stick Lite is Amazon's entry-level streaming device, but it still has a lot to offer. It gives you access to services such as Disney+, Now TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video in resolutions up to 1080p (or Full HD), while supporting HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG. In our tests, it was incredibly easy to set up and use via the slick interface – and its party trick of Alexa voice control is always handy. In short, it's an excellent budget device.
