Amazon’s Alexa-enabled Echo Dot speakers are among the easiest ways to turn your home smart. Tell your Dot to play an album, dim the lights, tweak the thermostat, answer the door, turn on the TV… or announce today’s best Cyber Monday deals. The Echo Dot 3rd gen is now a ridiculous £19 – well under half what it cost when it earned our five-star review.
The Echo Dot 4th generation, which also earned five stars in our tests, is also down to its joint-lowest price ever, down from £50 to £28.99. That’s an especially cracking deal, considering that we said the Echo’s sound quality is better than dedicated speakers you’d buy for £50. It’s available to preorder currently, with deliveries expected for a couple of weeks’ time.
The 4th gen speaker (which, confusingly, is the second edition of the Echo Dot) is available in three colours (Charcoal, Twilight Blue, and Glacier White), all included in the Cyber Monday deal.
