Amazon has slashed the price of the Kindle Oasis as part of its Prime Day deals event.
The Kindle Oasis hasn’t received an update since 2019 but remains the biggest and most expensive entry in Amazon’s ebook reader series.
The 8GB Wi-Fi model typically retails for £230, but you can pick one up for just £170 thanks to a hefty Prime Day discount. The 32GB version is also on offer and will set you back £250, which is £70 less than usual.

But to summarise, its large, glare-free 7in screen is the best on any ereader and benefits enormously from the blue-light-reducing front light that was added to the 2019 model.
It’s also IPX8 rated for water resistance, so you can use it in the bath or by the pool without any worries, and has built-in Bluetooth connectivity for streaming Audible audiobooks. Other features that set it apart from its competitors include automatic light and page-orientation adjustment.
