Manchester City host neighbours Manchester United in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final at the Etihad tonight

As if their FA Cup and Premier League ties weren’t enough, tonight the rival sides of Manchester face off in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final. The Red Devils also have a recent run of disappointing results against big teams, including the 2-0 defeat at home to Burnley in the Premier League on 22 January.

However, United will take solace from the fact that they won the last Premier League meeting against Man City in early December and they also won their FA Cup fourth-round match against Tranmere Rovers emphatically last weekend.

How to watch the Man City vs Man United anywhere in the world: use a good VPN service

By default, all the streaming services we’ve mentioned are geo-blocked, meaning you won’t be able to watch the Manchester derby on Now TV Sky Sports Pass if you’re outside the UK, or access ESPN+ from outside the US unless you use a good VPN service on your PC or mobile device.

A good VPN service does much more than let you stream content that’s not available in your country. We think that it’s becoming increasingly important for everyone to use one because whenever you switch on a VPN all your online activity is encrypted, meaning no one – not even your ISP – can see what you do when you go online.
