We've found the best HTC One deals on contract with EE, Vodafone, Three, O2 and SIM-only deals
It might be a year old but the HTC One is still a brilliant phone. Compared to its successor, the recently launched HTC One M8, this is still a top-spec handset and you can now get some seriously good deals.
The HTC One still feels bang up to date thanks to Android 4.4, while its 4.7in screen is one of the best around.
A SIM-free HTC One is now around £130 cheaper than the M8 and we’ve scoured all the major UK networks to find the best contract deals too. All deals are on 24 month contracts unless stated.
Best HTC One deals on Vodafone
Vodafone has some of the best deals around. Its stand out deal, available from Carphone Warehouse, gets you unlimited calls and texts and 4GB of 4G data for £31.50 per month and there’s no upfront cost for the handset. For £1 less per month you can get unlimited texts and calls with 1GB of data for £30.50, also through Carphone Warehouse.
For the data-hungry Vodafone has two decent deals. For £46.50 and no upfront cost you get unlimited calls and texts and 13GB of data. Alternatively for £29.99 a month you get unlimited calls and texts and either 7GB or 10GB of data for £36.50 or £41.50 per month, again with no upfront cost.
Best HTC One deals on O2
O2 has the best HTC One deal under £30. For £28 you get unlimited texts and calls with 1GB of data. This is exactly the same deal as Vodafone’s deal but will save you £2.50 a month. The deal is web-exclusive and only available through Carphone Warehouse’s website, so you won’t find it on O2’s website.
For an up-front cost of £59.99 you can get unlimited calls and texts and 8GB of data for £38 per month.
Best HTC One deals on Three
Three only sells the HTC One refurbished but it is probably the best network for data-hungry users. Its cheapest deal offers unlimited texts, 600 minutes and 1GB of data for £28. If that deal is not enough then for £3 extra a month you can add either 1GB of extra data of data or move to unlimited minutes.
You can also get unlimited everything for £37 a month. Three customers also get 4G at no extra cost.
Best HTC One deals on EE, Orange and T-Mobile
EE doesn’t have any good deals for the HTC One. The best we could find will cost you £35.99 a month and includes unlimited calls and texts with 2GB of data. A similar deal on O2 is £8 less per month. You can only buy the HTC One on EE through Carphone Warehouse as EE’s own online store no longer lists it.
Orange and T-Mobile have some decent deals if you don’t need 4G. For £29.99 a month and no upfront cost you can get the HTC One on T-Mobile with unlimited data, 250 minutes and unlimited texts. Orange’s deals are less impressive. Its cheapest gets you unlimited texts and calls and 1GB of data for £34.99 per month. The same deal on O2 and Vodafone is £7 and £4.50 cheaper respectively.
Best HTC One deals on Talk Mobile
The only other provider selling the phone is Talk Mobile. There are three deals under £30 but none of them are any good. For £27 a month you get a miserly 200 minutes, 700 texts and 150MB of data. Alternatively you can get 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 500MB for £24 a month, with £129 paid upfront. Again, that’s a pretty lousy deal.
Best SIM free HTC One deals
You can buy the HTC One (32GB) SIM free from Expansys for £334.99. You can get it for pretty much the same price (£334.60) on Amazon Marketplace or £389.99 from O2.
