The Fitbit Versa 2 is the cheapest it’s EVER been
This smartwatch fitness tracker hybrid is a steal this Prime Day
Amazon Prime Day is back with aplomb, bringing you deals on a host of best-in-show products on everything from cookware to wearables, including the fantastic Fitbit Versa 2.
As summer kicks off and the world opens up a little – inviting much more out-and-aboutness – we were thrilled to see the high-performance Fitbit Versa 2 have its price slashed from £200 RRP (though it frequently retails at around the £150 mark) to just £119, saving you a whopping total of £81.

But don’t be lured in by price alone (though this one is exceptionally reasonable). We gave the Fitbit Versa 2 four stars in our full-length review here, singing its praises for its pared-back but punchy design, robust set of features and laudable Fitbit app.
Performance-wise it’s a gem, offering diligent activity tracking and interactivity – logging your steps, buzzing through notifications and offering a suite of apps to cater to all your music, exercise and smart home management needs. With an OLED screen – not the LCD screen of yore – the Fitbit Versa 2 wields bright and vibrant colours but without scrimping on battery life. It’ll run for at least five days, a 25% increase on its lower spec predecessor.

Plus, Alexa-dependents will be pleased to hear that Amazon’s virtual assistant is part of the deal – the Fitbit Versa 2 comes equipped with a built-in microphone for you to instruct Alexa at will. Which makes for the ultimate in hands-free functionality, particularly when you’re likely to be exercising, out and about or otherwise tied up when using the device.
Our one small bugbear was a lack of GPS functionality – something you’ll need to look to the Fitbit Ionic or its (literally) bigger brother, the now discontinued Fitbit Surge, for. But at a slashed price like this, lack of GPS isn’t a hill we’re willing to die on.
