Forget the Roomba deal: These are the best robot vacuum bargains on Cyber Monday
Prices have been slashed on Eufy and Neato Robotics vacuums
There are some great offers on robot vacuums over Cyber Monday, at the tail end of the Black Friday period. Amongst these, Roomba is the name most people are likely familiar with, but it doesn’t necessarily represent the best value for money.
This doesn’t mean you should turn your nose up at Roomba completely. John Lewis is currently offering the iRobot R974 model for £100 cheaper, bringing it down to £399 and throwing in a two year guarantee.
It’s a solid reduction, but that’s still a substantial amount of money to pay for the Roomba name. If you’re looking for sheer value, we’d instead recommend the eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 30C, which is currently down from £270 to only £160 on Amazon.
The eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 30C is one of our favourite robot vacuums even at full price, and is certainly amongst the more affordable of the bunch. It doesn’t have some of the features you’d get with more expensive machines, such as infrared scanning and room mapping, but it does an impressive job at a low price.
If you’re looking for the best of the best, you’ll also want to check out the deal on the Neato Robotics D750 robot vacuum, which has been slashed by £525 to £380 on Amazon. This D-shaped machine has a laser scanner on top of the vacuum, which allows the robot to build up a detailed map of its surroundings and avoid obstacles – whether your lights are on or off.
Also worth considering is the Neato Robotics D650, which can be got for even cheaper, currently at £330 on Amazon. It comes with many of the same features as the D750. It lacks zone cleaning, but that can always be simulated by adding virtual boundaries.
