The smallest model in Samsung’s artistic The Frame series is now cheaper than ever
Samsung’s customisable The Frame 32in FHD HDR TV is now at its cheapest price ever in the Black Friday sales. With £100 off the RRP at online retailers including John Lewis and Amazon, the entry-level Frame TV is just £399 – great value for such a multi-faceted TV.
As the industry shifts towards large 4K and 8K sets, new Full HD TVs are getting harder and harder to come by, but Samsung still has you covered. The Frame 32in is absolutely perfect as a secondary TV for the bedroom or kitchen nook, and you won’t find a higher quality TV of this size from any other brand.
The Frame is unique among Samsung’s TVs because it is quite literally built to look like an art frame, with thick frame-like borders around its panel that can be customised or swapped out for a different look in order to suit your home’s decor.
You can also mount The Frame seamlessly on the wall to look just like a hanging picture. Meanwhile, if you decide to attach The Frame’s feet and stand it on a flat surface, you can then adjust the height and angle of the panel to your liking.
Using ‘Art Mode’, The Frame becomes your own personal gallery piece for displaying artwork and photos, and its ambient light detection allows the panel to adjust its brightness automatically to suit the surroundings. And since it has a QLED – or quantum dot – panel, The Frame can get much brighter than standard LCD LED-lit TVs of the same size.
Of course, it’s also a smart TV and it offers up all the features you’d expect from a modern television. Samsung’s Tizen OS is an intuitive platform that carries all the major streaming services including Netflix, Disney Plus and Prime Video, and the UK catch-up apps (BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub etc.) are present and correct too. There are also three voice assistants to choose from, namely Samsung Bixby, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
